The 2008 Fife Young Driver Challenge started at the beginning of 2008, with applications to take part being invited from drivers aged 18-25.
Of the 23 applications received, 14 attended the Assessment Day at Fife Police HQ on Sunday 30th March 2008 and after this the selection was made of the final 6 who would take part in this event.
Unfortunately, two of the six young drivers withdrew from the event before getting to the stage of sitting their IAM Advanced Driving Test. However, the Kingdom Of Fife Group are pleased to announce that the other four went on to sit their tests between 1st August and 5th October and that all four were successful, resulting in them being recommended for full IAM membership.
Congratulations go to these young drivers, as well as to their Observers, in achieving such a successful outcome.
